I would like to get in contact with anyone in Sadorus township who might know of the SKEFFINGTON farm in or around Ivesdale. Someone had mentioned this to me, and I wondered if anyone there is familiar with the farm and the SKEFFINGTON family who worked it late in the 19th century. I believe the family of Patrick SKEFFINGTON and Johanna LEEHAN worked the farm in the 1880's to 1890's. Your help will be greatly appreciated!

Looking for information about Henry & Jennie Steffler family. Lifed in Rantoul, Champaign Co. Henry was born 27 Aug 1856 in Lehmhagen, Kr. Grimmen, VorPommern (Germany) Jennie was born May 1861 in Ohio. No known children. Family enumerated in the 1900 & 1910 census. Probably died after 1922 in Rantoul. Any information would be appreciated.

I am looking for information on the Temple Family of Rantoul and St. Joseph township. Hannah Hollis Temple and her sons, John, James, George and William settled there before 1865 and some of George's family remained in the area at least until after 1900. John died there in 1865 and Hannah, James and William moved to the Kansas City area. I am especially looking for information on descendants of William.

Turner Family of Champaign County, Illinois (1865 through abt 1882): Orson Turner, born 1840 in NY married Cerrilda (Syrelda) Jane Anderson, daughter of Harry and Rachael Anderson of Indiana, married 1865 in Champaign. In 1870 in Sidney, Orson is living next door to Harry and Rachael. In 1880, Orson and Cerrilda have moved to South Homer Township. The following are their children, all born in Champaign: Silas, 1866⁄67; Ella, 1868; Nettie, 1870; Charles, 1869; Delia, 1873; and John and Orson (Twins), 1877. John died in Champaign before the family moved to Kansas (around 1882) and is buried somewhere in Champaign (possibly in Philo).

UNGLAUB - Charles Louis Unglaub was a telegrapher, supposedly for Southern Pacific, but moved around a lot. My father, Charles Griswell Unlaub, graduated from Champaign High in 1923. Supposedly his father was no longer with them - and I get the impression he had "moved on" as he was quite a "ladies" man. My father was born in Tazewell Co. in 1905, and my grandfather was found with his family in the 1860 Census in Morgan Co. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Would like to find obituary or family information regarding Elizabeth WEISENBARN ( b 29 Jun 1872) who married 17 Feb 1892 Immanuel Lutheran Church in Thomasboro, Champaign Co., IL, Emil Otto GEHRT. She died 14 or 19 Aug 1895 of Typhoid Fever, buried? She had family members from Buckley, IL, but Emil's obituary says she died in IN. Emil's parents lived near Rantoul, and raised their two children for a few years. Also compiling family data on GEHRT and related families.
