I am looking for info. on two families that lived in Urbana in the 1800s. My g.g.grandfather was PRESLEY W. GLASSCOCK and he joined the 25th Illinois Volunteer Infantry Co. K in 1861 and listed his residence as Urbana. He served with a JAMES H. MCKINZIE who also listed his residence as Urbana. James father was John McKinzie who lived in Urbana with his family and died there in 1884. John and his wife Eliza Jane are buried in the Champaign/ Urbana area as are James and his wife. I would like to locate the graves if possible. John and Eliza Jane McKinzie had six children Thomas, Samuel, James, Elias Marion, Amanda and Jacob David. Amanda married Presley Glasscock after the Civil War.
