Survivors: his wife, two sons, Dennis Schwartz of Sidney and James Schwartz of Champaign; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Melvin Schwartz of Urbana; and two sisters, Irene Lofton and Arlene Buhr, both of Champaign. He was preceded in death by his parents.
