William Jones was born in 1810 in Kentucky. He married Jane Brown, born 1815 in Virginia about 1832 in Kentucky and they had the following children.

Eliza Jones, born in 1834 in Kentucky.

Harriet Jones, born in 1836 in Kentucky.

Riley Jones, born in 1839 in Kentucky.

Andrew Jackson Jones, born in 1840 in Kentucky.

Amilda Jones, born in 1842 in Kentucky.

Sarah Jones, born in 1844 in Kentucky.

John Jones, born in 1846 in Kentucky.

Ephraim Jones, born in 1849 in Kentucky.

Francis Elizabeth Jones, born on 4 July 1850 in Kentucky. She died on 14 July 1928 in Vermilion County Illinois and was buried in the Lost Grove Cemetery in Champaign County Illinois.

Martha Jones, born in 1854 in Kentucky.

William Jones, born in 1855 in Kentucky.
