I am looking for any descendants of Francis Joseph and Anna Oberbeck. They were originally from Bucks County, PA and migrated to Illinois circa 1850. Their children were Joseph, William (1839-1914), Alfred Augustus, Lewis, George Dallas, Margaret Catherine, Eliza, Jacob, Mary Elizabeth, and Francis. I am a descendant of Francis Joseph's younger brother, Samuel Breiner. I am trying to get into contact with as many Breiner family relations in this family as possible. The 1880 census of Ogden, Champaign co, Ill shows this family: William Ogden age 41 so b. 1839 in Indiana; Sarah Ogden age 34 so b. 1838 in Ill fath. b. Ill. Mother b. VA. Children listed are John, Evalena, Lua, and Mary. Also living with the family are Alonzo and Daniel Stevens. The latter seems to give credence that Sarah Ogden is the Sarah F. Stevens who married William Ogden 12 April 1866 in Vermilion co, Ill. Am seeking to prove that Sarah F. Stevens Ogden is the daughter of Wesley Stevens and Nancy Starett of Vermilion co., Illinois. Does anyone know more about this family?
