Trying to locate after 1854 - William S. ZORNS b. 1818 Greenup Co KY, and Sarah JONES married 12 Nov 1843 Champaign Co, Illinois. Daughter Geraldine b. abt 1848. William son of John ZORNES and Mary JONES who married 4 Jun 1816, Greenup Co KY. John son of Martin ZORNES and Catharine STOUT. William probably named for John's brother William Stout ZORNES. Following 1839 death of John ZORNES, in St Joseph Twp, Champaign Co IL, and a long probate, William consolidated interest in family farm from siblings gaining clear title 1850. William S. age 33 b. KY, Sarah age 26 b. KY and Geraldine age 2 b. IL are present on 1850 Federal Census of Champaign Co, mis-indexed as Torn. William and Sarah sold farm Feb 20 1854 for $1600. William's sisters remained in Champaign Co, as did Jones family, but have lost track of William, Sarah and Geraldine after 1854. Does anyone know of William & Sarah ZORNS movements?
