This photo was submitted by Pamela Thing Bane, granddaughter of Lois Layton - thanks Pamela! Lois Layton married George F. Thing in 1916.

The school is the Fisher School, erected in 1914 according to the Fisher Centennial booklet, 1876-1976. It housed all twelve grades until a high school wing was added in 1926. Thanks to Donna Schrock Birkey for providing this information. Donna tells us she lived across the street from the school until 1952, and graduated brom both the grade and high school.
