The News-Gazette April 11, 1973 Ronald Curtis Ronald F. Curtis, 23, of 15 Maplewood, U, died Tuesday (April 10, 1973) at Carle Foundation Hospital. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. at Heath and Sons Funeral Chapel, with Minister E. Ed Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. Mr. Curtis was born Aug. 23, 1949, at Paxton, a son of Lloyd and Anna Mae Walsh Curtis. He married Lynne Oetgen Jan. 20, 1973, at Sidney, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Anna Mae Robbins, Mace, Ind., a brother, John, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Becky Brown and Jean Curtis, both of 315 N. Orchard, U, Cheryl Curtis, 44 Cedric Dr. U, and Mary Lou Curtis, Tolono; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Elsie Walsh, Rantoul. His father preceded him in death. He was a member of the Sidney Christian Church and a 1967 graduate of St. Joseph-Ogden High School. He had attended the Illinois Commercial College and for the past 2 1⁄2 years, had been employed as a foreman at the Capitol Record Co. of Champaign.
