Mrs. Doyle, 72, Ivesdale, dies in hospital. Mrs. James Doyle, 72, longtime resident of Ivesdale, died at 3:55 am at Mercy Hospital in Urbana. She had been an invalid since 1937 when she suffered a stroke. Mrs. Doyle had been in the Hubert Nursing Home and was removed to the hospital on Monday. The body was taken to the Owens Funeral Home where friends and family may call after 7:00 PM. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Mrs. Doyle was born Julia Falvey Jan. 9, 1880, she was the daughter of James and Elizabeth Falvey who lived in Chicago, she was the last member of her family. Her marriage to James Doyle took place Jan. 8, 1901. Mrs. Doyle leaves her husband and three daughters Mrs. Lorretta McDonough of Dowagiac, Mich., Mrs. Veronica Faloona, and Mrs. Marie Burke both of Chicago, four sons James Doyle of Champaign, Joseph Doyle of Champaign, Frank and Leo at home in Ivesdale. She also leaves 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
